Haha, the new york version is all black and white and new yorky and mine is of course the random and weird colorful eyeball sign that I love.
(to be fair, the new york tale inspired me to think of my own "hopeful overhear" and the gal who observed the story is a canadian who lives in San Fran, so who can really detect a regional bias, anyway --- but still, you get what I mean.)
